Uganda has become a very accessible destination which can be reached by air or land.The main entry point for flights into Uganda is Entebbe International Airport (EBB) which is located near the town of Entebbe, about 46km/29mi from Kampala Uganda’s capital and its largest city. Several international airlines fly to Uganda and include British Airways, South Africa Airways, Ethiopian Airways, Kenya Airways, Rwanda Express, SN Brussels, Egypt Air, South African Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Air Tanzania. Travelers who arrive by air are frequently asked to produce a yellow fever vaccination card but if you arrive without it, you will probably be asked to bring it next time although as a traveler it’s not advisable to take things for granted. However, if you have a valid passport and a return ticket, you will have no harass with the formalities at Entebbe airport.
By land (road)
You can also come to Uganda through many borders crossing since the road network in Uganda is good for any tourist to reach the country. by road bus run between Kampala to Nairobi, coming into Tanzania from Zambia (at Tunduma) or from Malawi (at Songwe Rriver Bridge).Crossing from Kenya There are two main border crossings that most overland travelers use and these are Malaba and Busia, with Malaba being the busiest and the most commonly used. Crossing from Tanzania, the most commonly used direct route between Uganda and Tanzania is on the west side of Lake Victoria between Bukoba , Masaka, and Mutukula. The road conditions have considerably improved over the years and the journey can be undertaken within a day. Crossing from Rwanda: There are two main crossing points between Rwanda and Uganda. From Kigali, you will pass through Katuna and Kabale. There’s also Cyanika via Ruhengeri and Kisoro. Crossing from Sudan: There are many buses working the juba route and these can be boarded in Sudan and definitely will bring you safely to Uganda and vice- versa. All these shall get you here in the preplanned time.
There are safe, easy but lengthy bus routes into Kampala from Kenya (Nairobi), Tanzania (Bukoba, Dar es Salaam), Rwanda (Kigali) and Burundi (Bujumbura). The borders with South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are more risky – be sure to research the current travel situation as well as visa requirements before attempting travel to or from these countries.
Airlines
Several airlines fly to Uganda, including Uganda Airlines, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Egypt Air, Emirates, Ethiopian Airways, Kenya Airways, KLM, Precision Air, Qatar Airways, Rwandair, South African Airways and Turkish Airlines. International flights generally arrive into the modern Entebbe International Airport (EBB) located one hour from the capital of Kampala.

Water transport
There is a regular inland ferry connecting Nakiwogo in Entebbe and the Ssese islands on Lake Victoria and one between Bukakata near Masaka town.
