This is a 4 days Uganda Gorilla Safari starts and ends in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. This gorilla tour takes you to Lake Mburo and Bwindi Gorilla Forest for a wildlife tour and gorilla tracking tour. From lake Mburo National park, Uganda’s smallest savanna national parks, a wildlife tour through the park will enable you see the different wild animals such as the gigantic eland antelope, topis, impalas, sitatungas, bush duikers, among others. The five lakes within the park also attract hippos, crocodiles and a variety of waterbirds, while fringing swamps hide secretive papyrus specialists such as the sitatunga antelope and red, black and yellow papyrus gonalek.
The tour latrr takes you through Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in South Western Uganda for a gorilla tour . Looking deep into the expressive brown eyes of these gentle giants is surely the most exciting and memorable encounter that you do not need to miss. Gorilla tracking will take place within one of the four habituated families of mountain gorillas that live in the park. Tracking from Bwindi is however a more challenging adventurous activity given that it involves you walking on the steeper forested hillsides looking for these great apes.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Lake Mburo NP
our safari guide picks you from your hotel and gets you briefed about the safari. Drive for Lake Mburo, arriving at the park during lunchtime. Take on a canoe trip on Lake Mburo where you will see different animals at the lake shores as well as waterbirds. Take an afternoon game drive to see different animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, impalas, topis among others. Dinner and Overnight at Mantana Tented Camp
Day 2: Lake Mburo – Bwindi Gorilla Forest
After an early breakfast depart for Buhoma in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest located in the south western part of Uganda. After having lunch, visit the local communities to have an experience of their lifestyles and culture or take a nature walk in the forest or relax at the lodge. Overnight at Buhoma Homestead
Day 3: Gorilla Tour in Bwindi Gorilla Forest
After breakfast go gorilla tracking deep in the dense tropical moist forest. Tracking in Bwindi requires stamina and can often take most of the day. Packed lunch. Relaxation at the lodge or engage in any activity you missed in Day 2. Overnight at Buhoma Homestead.
Day 4 : Bwindi Gorilla Forest – Kampala
After breakfast return to Kampala arriving late afternoon.
