This 3 Days Uganda safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a world biosphere reserve in Western Uganda. Located at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, Queen Elizabeth National is one of the best wilderness areas where travelers enjoy game viewing in Uganda. The park is famous for the tree climbing lions, large herds of buffaloes, elephants and more. The park also hosts an incredible diversity of antelopes.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning our safari guide will pick your from your hotel for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Reaching the you may see different animals which include elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and leopards. Take an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel the spot with the largest concentration of Hippos in Africa as well as a number of birds including migrant birds. Day 2: Game Viewing Safari / Maramagambo Forest
After breakfast, take a morning game viewing safari to the Kasenyi plains where you may see the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. An excursion to Maramagambo Forest for a Nature walk along trails from where you will see the Bat caves and the Blue Lake. On a safari through this forest you may see different primate species, colourful butterflies and a host of forest bird species endemics to the Albertine rift. In the evening, take a game drive in search of the wild game such as antelopes, Elephants, Hyenas, Buffaloes and others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
Early in the morning take another game viewing safari through the park. After breakfast, check out from the Safari Lodge and start off for Kampala. Arriving by late afternoon, our safari guide will drop you at your preffered safari lodge.
